There is a strong buzz in the film industry, Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu will play the cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming film Acharya, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Koratala Siva. Till date, the makers of Acharya did not make official announcement regarding the inclusion of Mahesh Babu in Chiranjeevi starrer.
The reports are coming that Chiranjeevi did not like the idea of spending extra money to hire Mahesh Babu in Acharya when his son Ram Charan will be available after RRR shoot is over. According to Chiranjeevi, if Mahesh Babu will be the part of Acharya, then the budget will increase by Rs 30-35 Cr. So Chiranjeevi asked Ram Charan to talk to RRR producer DVV Danayya, again about RRR terms.
Chiranjeevi asked Koratala Siva to wait for Ram Charan and plan to release Acharaya in Summer 2021 after the release of RRR.
Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead in this film Acharya and will be seen paired opposite the megastar Chiranjeevi. There were reports doing rounds in the Tollywood that Mohan Babu has been approached to play the main antagonist in this entertainer but the filmmakers have quashed it as mere rumors. Sonu Sood is on the board to playing the curial role.
