MAA- The Movie Artists Association held an event to launch the New Year Diary edition and the event was attended by Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Krishnam Raju and other members of the association. Dr Rajasekhar grabbed the mic from Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and touched the feet of everyone on the dias including Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu and Krishnam Raju. Rajasekhar turned emotional and said, “Chiranjeevi garu asked all of us to come together. He also asked us not to speak issues in public and only good things in a mic. “Rajasekhar went on a rant about how he lost the movies and his luxury car because of the Movie Artists association. He also spoke about his rift with Naresh, current president of MAA.
Garuda Vega star Rajasekhar also blamed the MAA association for his accident in the month of November. Kalki star said, “Every family has issues within them but to not reveal them to others. We all act like heroes on the screen but if someone within the association does good work, they try to crush it down.”
Rajasekhar added, “Megastar Chiranjeevi warned us during that time to say bad things only in ears, but not on the mic.”
After hearing Rajasekhar’ speech, Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu wanted to stop him. After Rajasekhar left the stage, Chiranjeevi took over the mic and condemned his speech. Chiranjeevi again said, “ I have already told everyone to tell only good things in mic and bad things only in the ear. but doing like this, Rajsekhar haven’t given any respect to elders like me. I condemn his behavior.” Megastar Chiranjeevi concluded the speech by requesting the association to take strong disciplinary action against Rajasekhar.
Later Jeevitha, the wife of Rajasekhar took the stage and said, “You have all right to comment on our movies but not on our personal lives. I apologize for the inconvenience created here today.”
