Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the lead role in an upcoming Telugu film which is a remake of Malayalam drama Lucifer. Mohan Raja, who is known for directing many remakes over the years, is the director of the film and it is produced by the Konidela production house. Now according to the latest report, the regular shoot of Lucifer remake has been started from today morning and Chiranjeevi has joined the sets. Chiranjeevi started its shoot with an action sequence.
Jayam Mohan Raja, the helmer of Lucifer remake, took to Twitter and shared a picture of him posing with the team. The action choreographer Stun Silva, cinematographer Nirav Shah and the production designer Suresh Rajan are part of this eagerly awaited movie #Chiru153. Chiranjeevi starrer marks Mohan Raja’s return to Telugu cinema after nearly two decades.
Known for directing the movies such as Jayam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Santosh Subramaniam and Thani Oruvan, Mohan Raja is returning to helm a remake after making three original movies in a row. He was recently signed to direct the Tamil remake of Hindi blockbuster movie Andhadhun.
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi is waiting for the release of his upcoming film Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. Helmed by Koratala Siva, Acharya is on the verge of completion.
