Senior Choreographer Srinu master passed away yesterday. He was suffering from a heart stroke and he took his last breath at his residence in T Nagar, Chennai. He has done nearly 1700 movies, predominately in Telugu.
Srinu master was born in Adoni, Kurnool district and worked as an assistant for legendary Heeralal master, before turning into full-fledged choreographer with Krishna’ Nenante Nene. He became popular after the release of the movie Eduruleni Manishi in which NTR did new kinds of steps which made the audience go crazy.
He choreographed for several top stars of South Indian Film Industry like NTR, ANR, MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Kollywood superstar Rajini Kanth, and versatile actor Kamal Haasan. His popular movies are Swarnakamalam, Bhakta Kannappa, Yugapurushudu. His last movie was Sree Rama Rajyam for which he received his third Nandi award after Swarnakamalam, Radhagopalam.
The 82-year-old dance master Srinu was survived with his wife and sons.
