The series of student suicides in Hyderabad city is disturbing. A girl studying in the 6th standard committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor in Chandanagar. Recently in Shamshabad, a class 10 student took his life by jumping from the 35th floor of My Home Bhuja apartment. At the same time, the girl jumped from the building and committed suicide, which was disturbing.
The victim girl has been identified as 12 years old Ahana. She was studying in Glendale Academy, Telapur. Her father is a software employee, who came to the city from Uttar Pradesh ten years ago. The girl, who had gone for Maths tuition at the Aparna Sarovar apartment where they were staying in Chandanagar, committed suicide shortly afterwards.
The girl refused to go to her maths tuition yesterday. However, due to the pressure of her parents, she directly reached the 15th floor at 4.50 and jumped from there. The girl was seriously injured and died on the spot. Police have registered a case and they are investigating.
