The young sensation of Tollywood, Vijay Deverakonda is currently working for a romantic family drama film Family Star written and directed by Parasuram and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film has Mrunal Thakur and Divyansha Kaushik in the female lead roles. According to the latest report, Vijay Deverakonda starrer Family Star will be released on 05th April.
The romantic drama Family Star was supposed to hit screens on January 14, 2024 and clash with films like Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Teja Sajja’s Hanu Man. But now it will arrive at the theaters on 5th April.
Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda’ lives changed post the release of Geetha Govindam in 2018. The former scored a hit after films like Solo and Sarocharu. In fact, he even went on to make a film with Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The latter warmed himself to the movie lovers by playing a boy next door. The audience also loved his chemistry with Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna in the film.
On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda was last seen in Kushi which was a decent hit at the box office. In this film he shared the screen space with Samantha Akkineni.
