Conspiracies to end BTech Ravi, Chandrababu Naidu sensational comments on removal of security

Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his concern over removing the security of BTech Ravi, TDP in-charge of Pulivendula constituency represented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

TDP in-charge of Pulivendula Assembly and former MLC BTech Ravi’s security has been removed. Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter asking State DGP Kasireddy Rajendranath Reddy to withdraw the decision to remove the gunmen saying that Ravi’s life was threatened by political opponents. He said it is not appropriate to remove the security. Chandrababu asked to continue security in the face of threats from political rivals and anti-social forces.

Ravi who continues as Telugu Desam party- TDP’ Pulivendula constituency in-charge enjoyed 2+2 gunmen in the past during the TDP regime.

In 2006, Ravi Pedananna M Ramachandra Reddy and cousin P Ramachandra Reddy were brutally murdered. As Ravi’s life was also in danger, the government provided security with 1+1 gunmen. That means Ravi had security even before he was elected as MLC. After being elected as MLC, Ravi was given 2+2 security. But he said it was not right to remove the MLC’s security on the pretext of expiry of his tenure.

Chandrababu Naidu said that political opponents are trying to eliminate BTech Ravi and implicate him in unrelated cases. TDP Chief said that the opponents have not only slandered Ravi’s connection with the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, which created a sensation in AP, but also hatched conspiracies to include him as an accused. Chandrababu asked the DGP to withdraw the decision to remove the security because it is the responsibility of the police to protect Ravi who was targeted by his opponents.
