We are talking about controversy’s favorite child Kangana Ranaut. She is one of the most successful female heroines in the Hindi film industry. The actor said that while she didn’t plan success, she had a vision for it. On Friday Ek Niranjan actress Kangana Ranaut shared that she had to refuse a lot of big hero films in order to do female-centric movies. The actress was speaking at the trailer launch of her upcoming action thriller Dhaakad in Mumbai.
Rangoon and Manikarnika fame actress said, “ In so many ways the audience is also ready for the women to take the lead. Another aspect is that I have had my own fair share of low points when I refused to act in a lot of male centric movies, you know Khan-led movies or Kumar-led movies, all kinds of big hero films..”
Kangana Ranaut made her debut in the 2006 thriller drama Gangster, for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2020, she launched her own production company – Manikarnika Films under which she works as the director and producer.
Many female actors in Bollywood have complained about pay parity. However, Kangana Ranuat revealed that she is happy with the fees she is being paid.
