Darbar Censor: Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Nayantara starrer action drama Darbar has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate. Darbar is one of the most awaited dramas of South Indian film industry, which will be released on the occasion of Pongal. The film Darbar’ runtime has been locked for a 2 hour 39 minutes.
Darbar’s pre-release event will take place today in Hyderabad. Darbar is directed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, will hit the theatres worldwide on 9th January in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada. Currently the team is busy in the promotional activities of Darbar. Lyca Productions has gone all out in promoting the film Darbar and got a Darbar-themed aircraft. The photos of Darbar-themed aeroplane are going viral on social media. According to the latest update, there are four flights with Darbar decals on it. However, an official confirmation regarding this is yet to be made by the makers.
This is the second time that Rajinikanth’s film has had a promo on an aircraft. The first time was by AirAsia, just before the release of his Kabali in the year 2016.
Apart from Rajinikanth and Nayantara, the action entertainer Darbar has stellar cast including Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Jeeva, Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, Soori, Harish Uthaman, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Rao Ramesh and Bose Venkat. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
