The Young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda romanced Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna in the romantic drama Dear  Comrade which was just average at the box office. But it’s Hindi dubbed version is a super hit.  Dear Comrade is all about the love story of two youngsters named Bobby and Lily who are completely unlike each other.

Vijay Deverakonda essayed the role of Bobby, a leftist student and union leader whereas Rashmika Mandanna played  the role of Lily, a cricketer who struggled to come to terms with the abuse she went through.  The Hindi dubbed version of Dear Comrade  has crossed 250 million views on YouTube and it also has more than 2.9M likes which proves that the Hindi audiences love the film. Vijay Deverakonda’s fans  are trending #DearComrade250MillionViews on Twitter.

Helmed  by Bharat Kamma, ‘Dear Comrade’ was their second collaboration after the romantic blockbuster movie Geetha Govindam. The music of ‘Dear Comrade’ composed by Justin Prabhakaran, was also a hit. Sujith Sarang  was the cinematographer and Sreejith Sarang was the editor of Dear Comrade.

Currently Vijay Deverakonda is working with  Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming drama Liger in which he is romancing Ananya Pandey. On the otherside,  Rashmika is playing a village belle in Pushpa.
