It is known that Young Tiger Jr NTR is united with Koratala Siva for Devara after the 2016 film Janatha Garage. The film marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Janhavi Kapoor is playing the female lead whereas Saif Ali Khan is playing the antagonist.
It is rumored that the film features Jr NTR in dual roles as father and son. The sources say that the story of Devera is set against the backdrop of a coastal area. According to the latest report, Devara movie post theatrical streaming rights sold to Netflix for a record price. The makers of Devera have completed 70% of action sequences including a 20 day underwater sequence which are choreographed by King Solomon. The makers are planning to release Devara on 5 April 2024.
