Dhananjay who played a baddie in Kannada movie Tagaru, is teaming up with controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma for an upcoming movie.
It seems Dhananjay has grabbed the attraction of the most controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. The sources close to Dhananjay say that blown by Dhananjay’s performance in Tagaru, director Ram Gopal Varma is keen to work with him. Actor Dhananjay was recently spotted meeting Ram Gopal Varma at Hyderabad before the release of Officer.
It is heard that both Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV and Dhananjay discussed over a subject and the upcoming venture would be bilingual – Kannada and Telugu. The project will be made under Raashi Combines in association with Ram Gopal Varma’s banner and will be helmed by young director, Siddharth, who has been an associate of Ram Gopal Varma for a long time.
The regular shoot is expected to commence from the end of June month and they are also planning to wrap up the entire shoot by 30th July. it is heard that Ram Gopal Varma and Siddharth are planning to lock the title Bhairava Geetha for this bilingual film, which is said to have a village based drama.
The official announcement will be made on 21st June. The makers also plan to reveal details on the cast, title and the technicians who will be involved in this upcoming project.
On the otherside, currently Dhananjay is busy in his upcoming film Suri Popcorn Monkey Tiger, helmed by Tagaru director, Suri. There will be three female leads and only Smitha (Niveditha) is confirmed as of now. Dhananjay starrer PMT is an action film and will be shot in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
Recently Ram Gopal Varma has also announced his next project Virus, which will be bankrolled by Parag Sanghvi, who produced Sarkar and Attacks of 26/11. Who will play the lead role is not yet decided.
