Kollywood hero Dhanush starrer Pattas was one of the most anticipated films of the year, which was released on 15th January 2020, and received critical acclaim for the music, story, RS Durai Senthilkumar’ direction, editing, and cinematography. The movie Pattas was turned as a blockbuster at the box office. Dhanush essayed the dual role Sakthi (Pattas) and Thiraviyaperumal. The film, which is helmed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, and bankrolled by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under Sathya Jyothi Films banner had Jagapathi Babu and Munishkanth in key roles is a martial arts-based one. Now makers of Pattas are planning to release the movie in Telugu as ‘Local Boy’. The makers have locked the release date of Local Boy. According to the latest update, Dhanush starrer Local Boy will be released on 28th February in both Telugu states.
Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is on the board to play the female lead whereas Sneha played a crucial role in the movie Local Body. Naveen Chandra, who won millions of hearts with his performance in ‘Aravindha Sametha’ and ‘Evaru’, has another key role in the movie. The film is being presented in Telugu by Ch Satish Kumar under his banner Vigneshwara Entertainments.
On the other side, Dhanush is currently busy with the shooting of his movie Karna in Tirunelveli. Helmed by Pariyerum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj, and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
