Tamil star Dhanush starrer Sir has hit the theaters today on 17th February. The paid premieres of the film was a day before the release. Paid premieres in both languages are getting good response. While the OTT rights of this movie Sir/Vaathi have been acquired by the famous OTT platform Netflix.
The reports are coming that Netflix has bought the OTT rights of Sir/Vaathi for a huge amount as there is a full demand for Dhanush’ movies in Tamil and Telugu languages . It seems that there is a possibility that Sir movie will be released in OTT at the end of March or first half of April.
Dhanush starrer Sir has also locked its official satellite partner. Noted television channel Gemini TV has acquired the film’s satellite rights for a solid price, whereas digital streaming rights are with Netflix.
Sir movie is directed by Venky Atluri. Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead and the love interest of Dhanush in this film. Samudrakha and Hyper Adi are playing the pivotal roles. Sumanth acted in a guest role. This bilingual movie is jointly produced by Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director of the film Vaathi/Sir.
