Dia Mirza who was seen in King Nagarjuna starrer action thriller drama Wild Dog, has become a mother as she delivers a baby boy. Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.
Dia Mirza herself confirmed this news on Twitter on Wednesday, two months after the baby’s birth, along with a photograph of his hand. The couple revealed that they have named the baby Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.
Dia Mirza also revealed, “ A sudden appendectomy during the pregnancy and subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life threatening. The timely care and intervention by the doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section.” The actress also said, “To have a baby is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body’. These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav Rekhi and my feelings right now. Our heartbeat – our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on 14th May.”
Dia Mirza tied the knot with a businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in Mumbai on 15th February 2021. She announced on 1st April 2021 that she is expecting her first child.
