Digangana Suryavanshi made her debut with Kartikeya starrer Hippi which ended up commercially flop at the box office but according to the actress, Hippi is very close to her. Rangeela Raja fame Digangana Suryavanshi says, “The movie Hippi has a lot of mixed feelings. It’s my debut film and still, it is very close to me.” Now she is coming up with a thriller, Valayam.
When Hippi girl was asked about her role in this film Valayam to which Digangana Suryavanshi replied, “My debut film Hippi is a love story, so I don’t want to repeat the same, that is the main reason I chose a thriller, Valayam. I am playing the role of Disha a girl next door role who gets an arranged marriage. But after the wedding, she goes missing.” Then questions like ‘Was she having an extramarital affair with someone?’ ‘Did she cheat her husband?’ arise. That’s what the film Valayam is all about.”
The upcoming film Valayam is being helmed by Ramesh Kadumula and the film marks his debut as a director. Digangana Suryavanshi concluded it by saying that Valayam is going to be a clean family entertainer.
Apart from Valayam, Digangana Suryavanshi has also signed another film Seetimaar which is directed by Sampath Nandi where she will make her screen presence in the role of a TV reporter.
