Evaru, the crime thriller drama which starred Adivi Sesh and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, will soon go in for a Kannada adaptation. According to the latest buzz, a big production house will be making its entry into Kannada cinema through Evaru remake. The reports are coming that the technical crew from Telugu will be retained for the Kannada version. The pre-production work for Evaru Kannada remake, has been started. Evaru featured Adivi Sesh in the lead role whereas it’s Kannada version will have actor Diganth. An official announcement regarding Evaru remake and the inclusion of Diganth will be made once the lockdown is over. The technical team which was part crime thriller Evaru will be retained for Kannada version of the film as well.
Currently Diganth has multiple projects in his kitty, few of them are- Yogaraj Bhat’ Gaalipata 2, Raghavendra M Naik’ Marigold, and an untitled project which is helmed by Vinayak Kodsara, which are in different production stages.
Regina Cassandra and Adivi Sesh starrer Evaru, was an adaptation of Spanish movie, The Invisible Guest. It was made in Hindi as Badla in the direction of Sujoy Ghosh in which Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B and Taapsee Pannu played the lead roles and it was jointly bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment.
