Popular producer Dil Raju has been elected as the new president of TFCC- Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. The results of the election were announced after the counting of votes.
In yesterday’s polling, Dil Raju won over his rival, senior producer C Kalyan. Dil Raju won by 31 votes. Dil Raju’s panel has taken over key posts in TF CC.
Mutyala Ramaraj was elected as the Vice President of the Film Chamber. Damodara Prasad succeeded as Secretary. Prasanna Kumar was elected as TFCC treasurer.
Total votes are 48. Magic figure is 25 while Dil Raju got 31 votes. Dil Raju reacts to his victory. He said: Thanks to all the producers who made me win. I am thankful to all producers for giving our panel a good majority in executive committee and also studio owners, exhibitors, besides distributors for electing me as president. I have a lot of work to do , I have a mission on hand. I need the support of all members.
The list of winners includes Padmini, Sravanti Ravikishore, Yalamanchali Ravishankar, YV Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar, and Mohan Vadlapatla, who also won their respective posts.
In 14 rounds, popular producer Dil Raju’ panel secured 563 votes and C Kalyan’ panel secured 497 votes.
