The movie ‘Vikram‘ directed by Lokesh Kanagarajan has Fahad Fazil as Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. This movie released on June 3 without any expectations and became a blockbuster. This movie also gave huge profits to Telugu buyers. The movie, which became a double blockbuster in theatres, had its television premiere on September 11 at 5:30 pm on Star Maa.
Everyone thought that this movie would be a blockbuster here as well. Everyone expressed hope that creating records in terms of TRP rating is guaranteed. But on the big screen, the scene is reversed. Vikram remained a flop on TV. The movie registered only 5.1 TRP rating when it was telecasted on TV for the first time. It is heard that the digital and satellite rights of the film have been bought by Disney plus Hot Star for Rs 8 crore.
So to be safe they have to enter the same rating when the ‘Vikram’ movie is telecasted two more times. Either that or because people watch movies more in theaters and OTTs. ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF 3’ also failed to register good ratings when telecast on TV.
