Mohan Babu is currently working for his upcoming film Son Of India. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in Mohan Babu starrer son of India to play the crucial role, which is being directed by debutant Diamond Ratnababu, who has previously penned the dialogues for Luck Unnodu, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Gayatri, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam and Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda. But Rakul Preet Singh and her manager have busted this distasteful rumor and confirmed that De De Pyaar De girl is not the part of Son of India.
Rakul Preet Singh’ manager denied that the actress is doing ‘Son of India’ which is bankrolled by Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures in association with 24 Frames Factory. The film has music by Ilaiyaraaja.
It is being heard that Mohan Babu’ character will be different from the ones he has played so far.
Meanwhile Rakul Preet Singh has number of big budget projects, which are in different production stages. She will be seen playing the female lead in Nithiin starrer ‘Check,’ and untitled film with Krish Jagarlamudi starring Vaishnav Tej, a Tamil film opposite Sivakarthikeya. Rakul Preet Singh is also playing the crucial role in Shankar’ directorial venture Indian 2 which has Kamal Haasan.
