If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Bigg Boss contestant Divi Vadthya has been approached to play the role of a police officer in Telugu remake of Tamil film Vedhalam in which Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role. Megastar Chiranjeevi gave a huge shock to everyone when he announced that Divi Vadthya is the part of his upcoming project and she has a key role in Vedhalam remake, which is directed by Billa fame Meher Ramesh.
The reports are coming that the Bigg Boss contestant is being considered for a police officer role in the remake. An official confirmation on what role Divi Vadthya would play in Vedhalam remake is awaited.
The sources revealed that the major portions of the action packed entertainer of Megastar Chiranjeevi will be shot in Kolkata. The director Meher Ramesh has started scouting locations.
Vedhalam, directed by top filmmaker Siva, starring Thala Ajith, revolved around the exploits of a taxi driver with a past and hit the right notes with its gripping presentation.
Chiranjeevi was last seen in Surender Reddy’ magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy that opened to a thunderous response at the box office of both Telugu states.
