Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have worked together in a few movies including Majili, Manam, Autonagar Surya and Ye Maya Chesave. It is known that on 2nd October Akkineni couple announced the divorce and recently Samantha also returned her wedding saree to Naga Chaitanya’ family. Nandini Reddy previously conceptualized a project with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya prior to their divorce announcement. But after the announcement of separation, they are not ready to act together in a movie.
The sources say that Nandini Reddy has decided to stick with Naga Chaitanya and she is now in search of an actress who can replace Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the film. Now we have to wait and see that who will replace Samantha in Nandini Reddy’ magnum opus.
Nandini Reddy has directed Samantha Ruth Prabhu in two films- Jabardasth (2013) and Oh! Baby (2019). Nandini is currently helming Anni Manchi Sakunamule, which has Santosh Shoban in the lead role. Samantha, on the other hand, was recently seen in a special dance number in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’ film Pushpa: The Rise. She will be next seen in Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadha and she is also playing the female leads in Shaakuntalam and Yashoda. All three are expected to release this year.
