About 30 years ago, former US President Donald Trump accused a woman writer of raping her and took her to court. Trump, who accused her of rape, explained in the investigation how she lied after that. She expressed her grief that she had to stand here today because she was raped by Trump. Author E. Jean Carroll told jurors at the trial in Manhattan federal court that she had written about it at the time, but Trump had lied about it.
