Charmee Kaur, the co-producer of upcoming Telugu movie iSmart Shankar has refuted the rumor about the pre-release business of her upcoming production venture. The sources say that a well-known distributor contacted Charmee Kaur as he wanted to acquire the world-wide theatrical rights of iSmart Shankar and he was ready to pay Rs 20 Cr. The sources added that the distributor had even offered to pay Rs 10 Cr advance. But Charmee Kaur has denied Rs 20 Cr deal which was offered to iSmart Shankar. Without any of iSmart Shankar‘ content (teaser/trailer) coming out, Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur don’t want to sell the film outright.
Charmee Kaur is saying that currently the shoot is going on at the brisk pace and currently we are focusing on the shoot. Very soon we will plan to launch the teaser of iSmart Shankar .
When Charmee Kaur was asked about the business of iSmart Shankar she said, “Yes that’s true that many distributors have approached me for the rights but I refused to take a call. After wrapping up the shoot of movie, we will discuss about the rights and business of the film.”
Ram Pothineni is playing the lead role in iSmart Shankar , which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film has two actresses Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh in female lead roles.
iSmart Shankar has Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Pavithra Lokesh, Rao Ramesh, in the supporting roles. Mani Sharma is rendering the tune with Raj Thota cranking the camera and Junaid Siddiqui in handling the editing. Shaik Jonny is the art director of Ram Pothineni starrer with stunts choreographed by Real Satheesh.
