Nandamuri Balakrishna has decided to go with experienced director KS Ravikumar for his next movie Ruler, which will be bankrolled by C Kalyan. Though VV Vinayak and Boyapati Srinu waited for his word for them to continue scripting for him, but Balayya Babu made official announcement regarding his next project with KS Ravikumar, which is going to launched on 17th May 2019 with formal pooja ceremony. We have already reported that Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing the role of antagonist in this Balakrishna starrer. The sources close to the film unit says that Balakrishna will play a police inspector and Jagapathi Babu will be his nemesis. The twist in the tale, is Jagapathi Babu will be seen in a dual role. It means this time double dhamaka for Balakrishna’ fans.
Earlier Balakrishna and Jagapathi Babu have worked together for Legend and their chemistry were highlighted. It is heard that in Ruler, Jagapathi Babu will play the nemesis of Balakrishna in the present timeline of the story and will be seen in a contrasting role in the flashback sequence.
Set in the backdrop of Rayalaseema, KS Ravi Kumar-directorial will have two female leads. Earlier it was heard that the makers have roped Varalaxmi Sarathkumar but the team has confirmed that she is not the part of this film. Varalaxmi is making her Telugu debut opposite Sundeep Kishan in Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL
