TSRTC has made 5265 special buses available for passengers across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states as well as in MGBS, JBS and other busy centers of the city from October 13 to 25 to avoid the hassle of congestion. However, compared to last year, RTC officials say that this year, the company has run 1,302 special buses and earned more than Rs 25 crores. This time too, RTC has collected only normal fares.

Meanwhile, this time TSRTC has made dynamic fares available, so passengers going to distant places like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Chennai mostly listen to dynamic fare only. As dynamic fares are less compared to private travels, passengers like to travel only in RTC bus.

Meanwhile, the officials say that the average income of RTC is more than two to three crores per day during Bathukamma and Dussehra festivals. In these 11 days, on October 21, the highest income of Rs19 crores was received. Officials revealed that the average income of each mandal in the state is 2 crore to two and a half crore.
