The world’s richest man, Elon Musk clinched a deal to buy Twitter Inc for USD 44 billion in a transaction that will shift control of the social media platform to the world’s richest person. Twitter announced on 25th of this month that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Elon Musk, for $54.20 per share in cash in the transaction valued at approx $44 billion. Upon the completion of the transaction, Twitter will become the privately held .
