Emmy Awards 2023- Two well-known celebrities of India have won. Out of these, Vir Das and Ekta Kapoor have made their names in the International Emmy Awards.

There is a lot of buzz about Emmy Awards 2023 in the US from Monday night. Meanwhile, Indian films and web series have also been nominated in many categories. Out of which Vir Das’s comedy film Dairy Girls Season 3 was already nominated for the Emmy Award once. At the same time, now another comedy film of Veer Das has won the International Emmy Awards 2023 on Tuesday (Monday night in the US). This was Veer Das’s second International Emmy nomination. The comedian and actor has won the award for his Netflix comedy special, Vir Das Landing. Meanwhile, producer Ekta Kapoor has also been honored with the International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards.
Announcing this award of Veer, the official X handle of the International Emmy Awards has tweeted and written – We have a tie. The International Emmy for Comedy goes to Veer Das Landing, produced by Weirdos Comedy/Rotten Science/Netflix. Other nominees included Argentina’s El Encargado and French show Le Flambeau season two.
