F2 Fun and Frustration, a romantic and comedy entertainer, directed by Anil Ravipudi, in which Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada are playing the lead role, has hit the theaters today on 12th January 2019, on the occasion of Sankranthi. F2 Fun and Frustration is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. After a long time Venkatesh has appeared in a full-fledged comedy film. Let’s see the storyline.
Story: Venky (Venkatesh) who works as a PA to MLA , gets married to Harika (Tamannah Bhatia). Harika started showing frustration in no time. Varun Yadav ( Varun Tej ) likes Honey (Mehreen Kaur), the sister of Harika and engages with her. Later Honey moved into Venky’s home. Varun (Varun Tej) also feel the same heat from Honey. Later a neighbour ( Rajendra Prasad ) advises Venky and Varun to fly Europe. After hearing the news that Venky and Varun are in Europe, Harika and Honey decided to marry Prakash Raj sons to teach a lesson to them. What happens next? Form rest of the story.

Performance : Venaktesh plays the character of a lover and a family boy. His comedy timing is very good. This role is a cakewalk for him. Varun Tej is selecting contrasting characterizations. His role in Antariksham 9000 KMPH was totally different. In F2 Fun and Frustration he chooses a character who is dominated by a female. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Tammanah Bhatia are good as female leads. Mahreen Kaur is seen in many films recently and she did well in this film too. Prakash Raj steals the show with his performance. His get-up and body language are very good. He provides entertainment with his reactions. Priyadarshi, Vijaya and Annapurna, Raghu Babu and others justify with their roles.
Technical: Though story and screenplay of F2 Fun and Frustration are predictable, the characterizations and performances of lead pairs brought freshness to it. The Writer writes an engaging screenplay and interesting characterizations. Some of the scenes appear routine, but Anil Ravipudi makes it up with screenplay. Devi Sri Prasad comes up with nice tunes and good background score. Cinematography by Sameer Reddy is good. Dialogues are entertaining most of the time. Editing is neat. Art direction is very good. Production values by Sri Venkateswara Creations are good.
Analysis: Overall F2 Fun and Frustration is a good romantic and comedy entertainer movie. The plus points of the film are Venaktesh, comedy and first half. On the flipside, second half should have been handled in an interesting way. Sri Venkateswara Creations comes up with a decent family entertainer that caters to all kind of crowds (especially families). You may watch it!
