A fire broke out in Falak Numa Express. This express coming from Howrah to Secunderabad caught fire between Pagidipalli – Bommaipalli of Bibi Nagar mandal of Yadadri district. Although the cause of the accident is not yet known, it is believed that a short circuit could be the cause. Immediately after the accident, fire broke out in the train.

Six bogies caught fire, four bogies were completely burnt. As soon as the first smoke came, the passengers pulled the chain of the train and got down, averting a major accident.

The sources revealed that Falak Numa Express train reached Secunderabad railway station with other coaches leaving the burnt coaches at the spot. Firefighters put out the flames of the burning train bogies. After cooling the train coaches, they were moved to Bibinagar railway junction.
