A terrible fire accident took place in Hyderabad’s Nampally Bazarghat. Six people lost their lives when a fire broke out in a Bazarghat apartment in the morning. Another person died in the hospital. The fire broke out due to the storage of chemicals in the basement of the building. Six people lost their lives as the entire building was engulfed in flames within moments.  

A fire broke out in the building at 9.30 am and the locals immediately informed the fire department. 15 families live in a five-storied building in Bazarghat. Chemicals, diesel oil and old oils used in vehicles are stored in the basement of the same building. As soon as the fire started due to short circuit, the fire spread rapidly in the building. A huge loss of life was avoided as the locals alerted the residents immediately after the fire.

Those who were sleeping at that time were trapped in the smoke. Those who were sleeping died of suffocation in their sleep. Six two-wheelers and a car were also hit in this accident. Efforts were made to control the fire with five fire engines, but the fire had already spread throughout the building. There was a huge loss of life as fire personnel and disaster response force were not able to go inside the building immediately. Due to the spread of diesel fumes, there was no chance for those inside to come out.
