A non-bailable case has been registered against the wife of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan. A case was filed in Lucknow after a man complained that a construction company for which she was acting as a brand ambassador had cheated him.
On Wednesday, Gauri Khan, has been named in the criminal complaint filed in Lucknow. The complaint, filed by Mumbai resident named Jaswant Shah, alleges that Gauri Khan, along with Anil Kumar Tulsiani, CMD of the Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited, and its director – Mahesh Tulsiyani, were involved in a case of criminal breach of trust under Section 409 of IPC.
Shahrukh’s wife Gauri is the brand ambassador of the construction company. Due to her campaign, this company is making inroads in the real estate sector. Recently Jaswant Shah from Mumbai bought a flat in Lucknow’s Sushant Golf City after seeing her advertisement. For this flat he paid Rs 86 lakhs. However, the representatives of the company delayed in handing over the flat despite the payment. He inquired and came to know that the flat had already been sold to someone else. Jaswant immediately filed a case against the company.
Tulsiyani Construction and Development Company CMD Anil Kumar Tulsiyani and its director Mahesh Tulsiyani were also named in FIR. Jaswant Shah alleged that he invested in a property at Tulsiyani Golf View in Lucknow’s Sushant Golf City region but did not receive ownership despite paying Rs 86 lakh. He alleged that he purchased the apartment from Tulsiyani Construction and Developers Group because Shahrukh’ wife Gauri Khan was its brand ambassador.
