The famous production company Purnodaya produced the film “First Day First Show” under their direction after a break of some years. Narrated by Anudeep of “Jathi Ratnalu” fame, the trailer & teaser of this film are impressive to an extent. Let’s see what the condition of the movie is..!!

Story: Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi is all set to release in a few days. Srinivas (Srikanth Reddy) thinks that his mission is to impress his girlfriend Laya (Sanchita Basu) by getting the first day first show ticket for that movie. The story of “First Day First Show” is about his efforts to get that ticket.

Actors Performance: Sanchita Basu makes an impression with her eyes. Although she struggled a lot with dialogue delivery & lip sync.. She entertained with the looks. Srikanth Reddy is less of a hero and more of a friend character. Even though the performances of Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani are good, but because their roles are just light, there is not much connection.

Technical Performance: Senseless comedy is a very good genre. It is the only genre that doesn’t require much story-telling, character arc, production design etc. However.. to impress the audience, hilarious comedy should be produced.
In this film, the director, the writer… all have failed in cultivating the comedy. The silliest point is to choose a point which is not even a comedy track as the main plot and make it a two hour movie. The less we talk about cinematography and production design, the better. Radhan, as always, entertains with new types of songs and background music.
Analysis: When a senior production house comes forward to make a movie.. from shooting to promotions and gives good support in every aspect.. they should keep their trust and give a good product but.. Making films like this is unforgivable. If lakhs of people are suffering due to lack of opportunities, this young team has misappropriated the opportunity and betrayed the trust of the producers.
