Few months ago, the controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV announced a movie based on the rape and murder of a woman veterinarian in Hyderabad. Finally the first look poster of upcoming film Disha Encounter is out.
The first look poster of Disha Encounter shows a Honda Activa bike and a truck. The first look poster also shows the hand of a man holding a gun in his hand while it shows a hazy picture of a man in the running motion. The movie will be released on 26th November.
RGV took to his Twitter and said, “Disha gang rape which happened on 26th November 2019 aroused such anger throughout India, that government not only changed rape laws but also for the first time in world created DISHA police stations named after a victim .. Disha Encounter film releasing 26th November 2020.

The movie Disha Encounter is all about 26 years old veterinary doctor from Shamshabad who was raped, killed and burnt. Later the police nabbed the rapists and murders- Mohammed Arif, Naveen, Shiva and Chennakeshavulu. But the accused were killed on 6th December 2019 under a bridge on Bangalore Hyderabad national highway.
Helmed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film based on true events is bankrolled by Anurag Kancharia.
