She recently played a key role in Naga Chaitanya starrer Custody, which disappointed the movie lovers. In this film she gave a wonderful performance. She is also going to be seen in Bollywood’s big budget film Jawaan starring Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and south lady superstar Nayanthara which is going to hit the audience soon. In this context, she interacted with media and responded on the ‘no kissing policy’. The talented and beautiful lady explained the reasons behind not acting in kissing scenes for some time.
Priyamani said that she is staying away from kissing scenes as she does not want to be embarrassed by the movies she is doing. She explained that after getting married, she follows this decision more strongly. The actress said: “After marriage, I thought I should not act in kissing scenes in movies. Whatever film I do, my parents and in-laws watch it. If they do such scenes, they will also get in trouble at home. So I took this decision so that they don’t have to suffer. Because of the kissing scenes, I have to answer especially to my husband. I thought that such a chance should not be given. That’s why I didn’t act in any kissing scenes after my marriage.”
