RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi approached the Hyderabad Central Crime Station and lodged a complaint alleging unidentified persons had impersonated him and cheated several women models by promising an opportunity to act in his movies. In his complaint to the Cybercrime cell, Ajay Bhupathi said the fraudsters created a fake WhatsApp profile on his name and contacted the women offering them a chance in his upcoming movies with the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda and Vishal.
An imposter using Ajay Bhupathi’ name started calling young girls and asked Interested people who want to star in films ought to send their portfolio along with photos and videos. If selected, they assured a chance in movies and Television serials. However, the condition to rope them in movies and TV series is at a cost of Rs. 25000. The fake ad is being promoted with Ajay Bhupathi’ name and his WhatsApp number.
This scam was busted when three men approached Ajay Bhupathi directly to enquire about the project. Ajay Bhupathi has lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police and they are currently in search of these impostors.
RX 100 director Ajay Bhupathi took to his social media pages to warn the fraudsters and urged the people to beware of them.
On the work front, Ajay Bhupathi is planning for his second film ‘Maha Samudram’.
