Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar 2‘ is unstoppable at the box office. The movie was released on August 11 in theatres and it is one of the highest-grossing films from Bollywood in 2023. Gadar 2 which also has Ameesha Patel has been in theatres for about three weeks but continues dominating the box office. The blockbuster drama has set several records with its outstanding run at the box office. According to the latest report, the director Anil Sharma has announced his intention to send Gadar 2 to the Oscars and his team is preparing for the application procedures.
Anil Sharma interacted with media and revealed that he was being repeatedly contacted by people to send the movie to the Oscars. He mentioned that Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the first part did not go to Academy Awards, and he has no idea how Gadar 2 will get there.

Anil Sharma also admitted that he wants the validation of awards. However, the director expressed his belief that he would not get any as he has never lobbied for awards.
On the other side, Gadar 2 is expected to cross the Rs 500-crore mark in India soon.
