Ganesh Chaturthi is buzzing in Telugu states. Mandapams appeared in the colonies. Bojja Ganapayya is receiving worship from devotees. This year a 63 feet Maha Ganapati idol was installed in Khairatabad.
Khairatabad Ganesh idol, weighing 50 tonnes was named ‘Dasa Maha Vidya Ganapathi’ and was unveiled to the public on Sunday. Positioned on the right of the main eco friendly clay Ganesh idol, is Sri Veerabhadra Swamy and on the left is Sri Panchamukha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
This year Ganesh idol of Khairatabad is appearing to the devotees as Sri Dasha Maha Vidya Ganapati.
Devotees flock to Khairatabad to visit Ganesh. The first pooja of Maha Ganapati was performed at 11 am on Monday. Telangana Governor Tamilisai, Haryana Governor Dattatreya, Telangana Minister Thalasani Srinivasyadav and MLA Danam Nagender participated in this puja.
Devotees flock in large numbers to visit Ganesha in Khairatabad. The cultural performances arranged there attract the devotees.
