It is known that Sai Dharam Tej’s next is an action-entertainer, titled Ganja Shankar, which is helmed by Sampath Nandi and produced by production banner Sithara Entertainment. Last year in the month of October, the makers announced the film through a short video which was titled ‘First High’. The video said that the film Ganja Shankar is a story about a ‘supreme hero’, and we see the actor Sai Dharam Tej as a ganja-seller who can take the cops for a ride.
The film Ganja Shankar has run into problems now that the state’s government has changed. The Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau has issued a notice to the makers of “Ganja Shankar” to change the title. Anti-Narcotic Bureau, Hyderabad, Telangana state said: Ganja Shankar – Exclude the word ‘Ganja’ from the title and also, refrain from glorifying the peddling, sale, consumption & cultivating of Ganja in the movie.
The government issued notices to Ganja Shankar which is still in production. Sai Dharam Tej starrer is produced by Sitara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas.
