Godfather  movie Box office collections: Megastar Chiranjeevi is thrilled with the response to his recently released film, GodFather, which is helmed by Mohan Raja. The political thriller drama which is a remake of Malayalam film Lucifer,  recently grossed Rs 100 crore at the box office worldwide and is still continuing its successful march.  But the traders are saying that Godfather which has Salman  Khan in the role of cameo will face loss in Nizam area.

 The Nizam rights of Godfather was sold out at Rs 20 Cr towards on which the distributor spent Rs 2 Cr towards publicity.  It means the movie should be Rs 22 Cr to make a breakeven. But the traders are saying that the  Godfather would earn between Rs 12 Cr and Rs 14 Cr in its full run in Nizam,  leaving the distributor with a huge loss.

 Director Mohan Raja made certain changes to the script  of Godfather to suit the taste of the Telugu audience. The movie also has Nayanthara and Satyadev in the important roles.

On 9th October, the makers of GodFather confirmed that the film has indeed earned Rs 100 cr at the box office worldwide. Going by the trade reports, GodFather raked in Rs 9 cr on Sunday in India.
