There is a good news for Samantha Akkineni fans! Samantha, the wife of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and daughter-in-law of King Nagarjuna, has been roped in and as the brand ambassador for Big C, a mobile phone retail chain. Recently an event was organized at Hotel ITC and Samantha Akkineni unveiled a new logo of Big C. The firm, which has 225 stores in both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is planning to enter into the market of Tamil Nadu very soon. On this occasion Balu Chowdhary, the Chairman and Managing Director of Big C said, “After 16 years of existence, we have decided to expand our presence to other States and we are now going to open mobile stores in Tamil Nadu in the month of September.
At the press meet of Big C, Samantha Akkineni was seen wearing red colour palazzo pant, red embellished crop top and sheer jacket, designed by Ridhi Mehra. She completed her look with a pair of diamond studs, soft curls and red lips. It is known news that two mobile retail companies, Happi and Celekt announced their plans to open large networks of phone outlets. While Happi signed Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Celekt roped in Jr NTR to promote its products.
On the work side, Samantha will be next seen in upcoming movie U Turn, the remake of Kannada hit movie U Turn starring Shraddha Srinath. The remake of crime thriller drama is being made in Tamil and Telugu. It is being helmed by Pawan Kumar and apart from Samantha Akkineni, the film has other stars like Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran, Narain and Bhumika Chawla in supporting roles. Samantha is playing a journalist in this film. Apart from U Turn, Samantha Akkineni will be seen in upcoming movies Seema Raja and Super Duplex. Very soon She will also be seen with Naga Chaitanya in Shiva Nirvana’s directorial venture.
