The Mumbai office of Google received a threat call stating that there was a bomb planted at the tech giant’s Pune office.  After being alerted,  the Pune police and Bomb Detection and the Disposal Squad reached the spot and they  carried out the extensive searches. According to the latest report,  one person has been arrested in Hyderabad.

 The police said that  Google’ Pune office was put on alert for a brief period following threat call that turned out to be a hoax. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone V) Vikrant Deshmukh said, “The Google office, located on the 11th floor of a multi-storey commercial building in Pune’  Mundhwa area, received a call  on Sunday night that a bomb was kept in Google’ office premises.

 The police said that a caller threatened Mumbai’s BKC office about placing a bomb at Pune Google office. The caller told that his name is Panayam Shivanand  and he is from Hyderabad. Nothing suspicious was found in probe and the caller has been detained and  they have filed a case against him.

 The man has been traced to Hyderabad and apprehended from there. After the arrest the man said that  he called when he was in an inebriated state.

 The sources revealed that a case was registered at Mumbai’s BKC police station and the probe is currently underway.
