Tollywood hot chunk Gopichand is coming up with an upcoming spy thriller drama Chanakya, which is arriving at the theaters on 5th October 2019. The movie has been creating a decent buzz among the movie lovers. Recently released trailer has raised the expectations to the next level. And this positive buzz has helped the makers of Chanakya to ink some solid non-theatrical rights deals.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the total non-theatrical rights of Gopichand starrer Chanakya have been sold out for the fancy price of Rs 15 crore. While the Hindi dubbing rights of the film were sold for Rs 9 crore. Star Maa has bought the satellite rights of Chanakya for Rs 4 crore.
Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights of Chanakya for Rs 2 crore. Chanakya, directed by Tamil film maker Thiru, is the first Gopichand starrer to be sold digitally before its release.
The film has two actresses Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Zareen Khan in the female lead. This film marks Zareen Khan’ debut in Tollywood. The movie is produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner of his AK Entertainments banner whereas it has the music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Gopichand is playing RAW agent in this film.
