GST revenue in India is creating a new record every month. In this month of October, a total of Rs. 1.72 lakh crore GST collection is another record. So far this year, the month of April (April, 2023) is the highest GST collected.  Meanwhile, this October collected Rs. 1.72 lakh crore GST is the second highest amount. Compared to the GST collected in the month of October last year, 13% more GST has been collected this October.

This month of October collected Rs. 1.72 lakh crore in GST. Rs. 30,062 crore as CGST (Central goods and services tax- CGST), Rs. 38,171 crore SGST (State Goods and Services Tax-SGST), Rs. 91,315 crore as IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax – IGST).

Also, Rs. 12,456 crores was collected as cess. The total GST revenue of the Center in the month of October was Rs. 72,934 crore, while the GST revenue of the states was Rs. 74,785 crores.
