Story: Veera Venkata Ramana (Mahesh Babu)’s mother Vasundhara (Ramyakrishna) leaves him due to an incident at the age of 10. Vasundhara is the daughter of a top politician Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj). After 25 years, she becomes a Minister, and her father, Venkata Swamy wants Ramana to sign papers declaring he has no relation with his mother, Vasundhara. What happens next? Why does Vasundhara distance her son?, Who is the reason for this distance? What is the role of Ramana’s father Satyam (Jayaram)? Does Ramana finally get close to his mother? Performance: Once again Mahesh Babu delivers fantastic performance. Mahesh Babu’s comedy Timing and mass avatar are the main highlights of the movie. Moreover, Mahesh mesmerizes the audience with his stylish performance as always, showing different variations in his dialogue delivery. Sreeleela impresses the movie lovers with her glamorous performance. Meenakshi Choudhary also acts well. Ramya Krishnan plays a crucial role in Guntur Kaaram. Her performance in that role is very good especially in the emotional scenes. Prakash Raj who plays the role of the villain has done very well for the role. Banter and comedic exchanges between Mahesh Babu and Vennela Kishore are superb. Jagapathi Babu, Eshwari Rao, and the rest of the cast also impressed with their performance.
Technical: When it comes to the technical department, Trivikram Srinivas impressed as a director, but as a writer he could not fully impress. Although the story lacked strength, he tried to make the film interesting with comedy elements. The songs are good. The background music is also good. The cinematography is eye pleasing. All the scenes in the movie are beautifully shot. Editing is ok. The production values are good.
Analysis: Mahesh Babu’ performance is one of the major highlights of Guntur Kaaram. Trivikram’s mark comedy punches and mannerisms are very good in the movie. Mahesh Babu entertains his fans with his stylish mass performance. Overall, this movie will impress the fans of Mahesh Babu.
