Guntur police have arrested a gang who not only performed n…d worship with innocent young women but also behaved indecently with them in hopes of money. The police caught the perpetrators of harassment by obstructing the financial needs of the victims.
According to the police report, Nageswara Rao, a priest from Tatikonda Mandal Ponnekallu, was performing pujas. Through social media, he met Aravinda, a woman from Chilakaluripet who had lost in business.
Aravinda, who lost in business, told Nageswara Rao about her pain. The priest told her that she could make easy money by discovering hidden treasures, and for that she would have to perform occult rituals with young women. Both approached a man named Nagendra who offered to pay one lakh rupees if he would sit naked in the pujas.
Nagendra, along with his friend Suresh, convinced two young women from poor families in Nandyal district by promising them money. After that, the priest made them sit naked and performed puja. After that, the priest and his followers s…….y assaulted the young women.
When they turned around, they got into the car on Saturday and left for Guntur. When the car came near Gorantla, the victim girls escaped and approached the police through the Disha app. Nallapadu police reached the spot and arrested all 12 people including the priest and his followers.
