Hansika who made her debut in Telugu cinema with Desamuduru movie got super craze in no time. ‘My Name is Shruti’ is a woman centric film starring Hansika. Under the direction of Srinivas Omkar, the movie is produced by Ramya Prabhakar under Vaishnavi Arts banner. It has hit the screens today on November 17.
Hansika made many interesting comments during the promotions of this movie. Hansika said, “I enjoy thriller films a lot. It is a dark thriller that deals with the menace of the skin mafia. This is the first time that a film is being made in this setting. My character falls into a trap in this. Shruti is working in an ad agency. Will she get bail for herself? Or not? You have to watch the film My name is Shruti,” said Hansika.
Hansika Motwani added, “Shruti is a fighter, she has a lot of self-confidence. She doesn’t back down from anything. She overcomes any obstacles. How does Shruti face such a terrible, insurmountable problem? The concept of the film is how Shruti got out of it. My mother is a dermatologist. The process of making this film was really skin-friendly. “Is there a mafia? I asked my mother. She also said that she had read about a similar incident somewhere,” said Hansika.
Darkness spreads in the life of a common man through skin mafia. Director Srinivas Omkar faced some unexpected incidents while researching for this film. She concluded it by saying ‘My Name Is Shruti’ exposes unknown facets of skin mafia.
