Teja Sajja starrer Hanu Man was a small budget movie which became a hit after its release. Apart from Telugu, the movie Hanu Man which was made as a Pan India film only in Indian languages, was simultaneously released in international languages. The movie became a pan world movie released in Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Japanese languages.
Leading OTT company Zee5 has acquired the digital streaming rights of Hanu Man. As Hanuman is pan India scale, the OTT rights have reportedly been sold at a huge price. The inside talk is that the movie was bought for Rs 16 crores. The Telugu version of Hanu Man was sold out for Rs 11 crores, and the Hindi version for Rs 5 crores.
Recently, Zee5 company has given an official announcement about the Hanu man OTT release. But as per the earlier agreement, Hanu Man was to be released in OTT three weeks after the theatrical run. But, the theatrical run of the film was extended to 55 days due to the good response of the film.
