Heavy rains are likely to occur in many parts of Andhra Pradesh for the next two days, the Meteorological Department said. Heavy rains are expected in South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the trough has extended from Comorin region to West Central Bay of Bengal through Andhra Pradesh. Also, cloudy weather prevailed in many parts of AP on Tuesday. Heavy rain occurred in many places in Nellore and Tirupati districts. Coastal Andhra Pradesh received light to moderate rains at a few places and one or two places in Rayalaseema.
If this is the case, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in many parts of Telangana for the next two days due to the surface circulation in the Bay of Bengal, officials of the Meteorological Department said. Due to the effect of winds blowing from north-east towards Telangana, the temperatures in Greater Hyderabad have decreased slightly. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some parts of Greater Hyderabad.
