Story: Arjun is a youngster who is in love with Subbu(Nidhi Agerwal).   He dreams of becoming a commercial film hero.  One day he finds himself in possession of a retro gun that fires off by mistake. He also receives a photo asking him to kill that person. On the other hand, Subbu’s father (Jagapathi Babu) is dead. What happens next?  What will Arjun do now? To get these answers, one should watch the movie  Hero on the silver screen.

 Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • Production values
  • Interval bang

 Minus Points:

  • Romantic track
  • Non-serious approach
  • Few illogical scenes

Performance: Ashok Galla, the nephew of  Mahesh Babu delivers fantastic performance in this film Hero.  His performance is impressive.   He makes his film debut with this film. Even though Hero is his first film, he looks good on the screen in action and dance . Nidhhi Agerwal looks glamorous and is adequate in songs. Jagapathi Babu is fine  in the role of father. Ravi Kishan is ok. His get up, and looks are well designed, Sathya is fine in small role and Sukanya is decent. Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji justify their roles.

Technical: The music composer created a lasting impression with his background score. Cinematography is the main asset of the film.   The visuals of the movie are fantastic. Dialogues are funny. Coming to the director Sriram Aditya, he has done a good job with the film. And he showcased Ashok Galla superbly.  Editing is ok but there are few drag scenes in the second half of the movie that test the patience of the audiences.

Analysis: Overall Hero is a fun thriller that has some comedy and engaging thrills.
